The climate emergency and inequality gap present themselves in different ways across all the services that we deliver, and the Plan now sets these as the fundamental challenges to be met by all our priorities. Nuclear power stations are national infrastructure sites, hosted by local communities on behalf of the nation. With advances in technology, this is becoming more achievable for most people. We have needed to find new ways to deliver services during the Covid-19 outbreak, some of which have highlighted better and more efficient ways of working. New development proposal(s) will be acceptable where an appropriate level of cycle parking is provided. However, there are also wider social, environmental and economic benefits from tackling climate change, for example, in terms of addressing the ecological crisis and public health concerns.
